Joshua 'Josh' Kenneth Espinosa died suddenly as the result of a car accident on June 30, 2009 in Lander, Wyoming. He was born October 4, 1978 in Miles City, Montana to Kenneth 'Steve' Espinosa and Alice (Clendenen) Espinosa. Josh was the elder of two children. When he was a young child, his family moved to Forsyth, Montana, and in 1987 they moved to Lander, Wyoming. He attended Lander Valley High School then earned his high school diploma through the Home School Program. Josh enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding dirt bikes and horses, cutting firewood and poles in the forest and driving through the countryside. His great appreciation for the outdoors was cultivated at a young age by his family.
Josh began his lifelong career in the family concrete business of Intermountain Builders at the age of fifteen during his summer breaks from school. He worked closely with his father and his uncle, Will Espinosa. Josh was an accomplished concrete finisher. His hard work and dedication to the family business makes him irreplaceable.
In 2006, Josh married Loriel Pokorny, also of Lander. They had a son, Zane Kenneth, followed by daughter, Siara Emily, and a baby due to arrive in August 2009. Josh was a great father and husband who shared his passion for the outdoors with his family. He liked to camp with his wife and children where they could enjoy open spaces and wildlife. He spent a lot of time working at home on the yard and garden with his son, Zane; his daughter, Siara, made his eyes light up, and he anxiously awaited the arrival of his new baby. His family was his greatest blessing.
Josh is survived by his parents, his wife, his children, his sister, Michelle Espinosa, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Lynn Clendenen.
Memorial funds to benefit Josh's young family have been set up at Wyoming National Bank and the
Atlantic City Federal Credit Union.
