Joseph Lee Reece

In the early morning hours of Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, the absolute best dad anyone could ever ask for peacefully left this world.

Joseph Lee Reece, age 65, was born on June 2nd, 1958, to Lois Blomberg; having lost his mom at an early age in a car accident, he was raised by his aunt Theresa Piercy.

He grew up in Riverton, Wyoming, raising Cain with all of the best people around. He married Lorie Johnson on August 10th, 1980, and soon after, Joe took on his best title of "Daddy". He has worked in many fields, but you all know him best as the proud owner of J&L Electric; and in his words, he was a "Joe of All Trades, and a master of one."

He was preceded in death by his mom, Lois, his loving grandmother, Ruth Smith, his grandfather Larry Smith, his aunt and second mom, Theresa Piercy, his uncle Dale Piercy, his sisters, Ruth Nelson, and Theresa Clarke, and his brother Vance Piercy.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kristy Ankrom, Kerri Reece, and Heather Johnson, his sister, Vivian Piercy, his brothers Vint Piercy, and Von Piercy, his numerous nieces and nephews, his grandsons, Ronnie Reece, David Jones, Zachary Malone, and Donivan Reece; and the true apple of his eye, his great-grandson, Ryder Brost.

A memorial to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on the 20th of April, 2024, at the Reach Foundation (950 Homestead Avenue, Riverton, WY 82501). All are welcome.
