John O. "Jack" Bertagnolli, 81, died in Spokane, Washington, on May 29, 2015.A Rosary will be said on Tuesday June 2 at 6:30 pm at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander; Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday June 3 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander, and burial will take place on Thursday June 4 at 11:00 am at St Joseph's Cemetery in Rock Springs. Services under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home.

Jack Bertagnolli, a Wyoming rancher for 81 years, was born in Rock Springs on May 24, 1934, the son of Alfonse and Mary Bertagnolli.He grew up in Superior, Wyoming, attended High School in Rock Springs, and graduated with a degree in chemistry from Colorado A&M University (now Colorado State University) in 1956.He returned to Rock Springs, where he married Elizabeth "Betty Jean" Carricaburu on December 30, 1957.Together they raised four children on the White Acorn Ranch near South Pass, Wyoming.Jack and Betty Jean moved from Rock Springs to Lander, Wyoming in 1985.

Jack is survived by his wife, Betty Jean, and their four children and ten grandchildren – daughter Monica Bertagnolli (husband Alexander Dannenberg) of Boston, Massachusetts; grandsons Benjamin Dannenberg and David Dannenberg;son Albert Bertagnolli (wife Mary Bertagnolli) of Rock Springs; grandson Michael Bertagnolli, granddaughters Valerie Mitchell and Katie Bertagnolli; daughter Suzanne Biedscheid (husband Thomas Biedscheid) of Fort Collins, Colorado; grandsons Nicholas Biedscheid, Luke Biedscheid, granddaughter Jenna Biedscheid; and sonJohn Bertagnolli (wife Maria Bertagnolli) of Spokane, Washington; granddaughters Jacqueline Bertagnolli, Samantha Bertagnolli.
