John David Jones, of Lander, died onApril 1, 2014 in the Lander Regional Hospital. John was born on August 11, 1936 in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, at home, to William & Peg Jones. He attended schools in Pennsylvania and after graduating he entered the United States Army. After serving his country he worked for a short time as an auto mechanic and then entered into a lifetime plumbing career.
John and his family moved to Wyoming in the early 1970's. After working as a plumber in Lander he opened his own plumbing business, Lander Plumbing.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling locally, around the area.
He is survived by significant other, Mona Payne; sons, Dean (Diane) DiJenno and William (Lisa) Jones; daughter, Hope (Carl) Christiansen; numerous grand-children; and great grand-children.

A Visitation will be held 10:00 am, Friday, April 4, 2014 in the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will then follow at 11:00 am, also in the Hudson's Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Lander.
