John Patrick Daly

John Patrick Daly, 81, of Lander, Wyoming passed away on September 1, 2015, at SageWest Healthcare in Riverton surrounded by his family. A Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2015, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander, Wyoming. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2015, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.
John was born January 3, 1934 to John Daly and Elizabeth Buckley Daly in Casper, Wyoming.

He graduated from Natrona County High School and the University of Wyoming.He worked at True Oil in Casper, Federal America Partners in Riverton, Bear Creek Uranium in Douglas and as an Auditor for the State of Wyoming.
John married Charmaine Anne Freeburgh of Lander on June 28, 1958 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lander. He was the proud father of two sons, Kevin Patrick and Michael Sean.

John was active in coaching his sons basketball and baseball teams, and enjoyed all sports. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth and his sister, Katherine Hatfield.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charmaine, sons Kevin and Anne of Kirkland, WA; Mike and Renee of Casper, WY; grandsons, Sean, Ryan and Kyle and Kashia of Lewiston, ID; Eric of Post Falls, ID; granddaughter, Kaitlyn of Casper WY; step-granddaughter Jessica of Kirkland, WA; and a great-grandson, Brayden of Clarkston, WA; and brother-in-law, Skip Freeburgh of Lander, WY.
