James David Sherlock

James David Sherlock, 77, of Lander, Wyoming died on September 15, 2018 at his home. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.

James David Sherlock was born November 25, 1940 to James Leo Sherlock and Opal Marie (Watkins) in Lander, Wyoming.

Jim spent his first seven years in South Pass City, Wyoming until the family moved to Lander. He graduated from Fremont County Vocational High School in 1958. In 1959 he and his brother moved to Hawaii where he attended the University of Hawaii. On December 20, 1961 he married Eiko Kimura. They bought a business called Chicken Delight. In 1989 he moved back to Lander to provide health care for his folks.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Pete.

Survivors include his wife, Eiko, his son, James E.; daughter, Opal Kiyomi; his brother, Ken (Dona) of Billings and six grandchildren.
