James Holden Jr.
Born on April 12, 1930 to James Holden SR. and Emma (Humes) Holden.He passed away at home in Lander on March 16, 2011.He drove truck in OK.He also worked in Oil fields.After he moved to Lander he was a brick layer and worked at the Wyoming State Training School till he retired.
He enjoyed rodeos, fishing and his music.
He is survived by his wife Florence Holden, one sister Lena Welch of Cleo Springs OK., his two daughters Sharon Nelson and Freda Hurtado , one grandson Melton Nelson and one great granddaughter Jorden Nelson.Also he has 5 step children Mike Calvert, David Calvert, Theresa Krueger, Kenny Calvert, and Todd Calvert.He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers and sisters, and one grandson and three great granddaughters.
Viewing will be held at Hudson Funeral Home at 680 Mount Hope Drive Lander Wyo.At 4pm to 7pm on March 23, 2011.Services will also be held at Hudson Funeral Home on March 24, 2011 at 11am.There will be a lunch in following the funeral at VFW in Lander.
