Jacqueline (Jacky) G. Scott

Jacqueline (Jacky) G. Scott passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in McKinney, Texas on Monday April 24, 2017. She rejoins her husband James F. Scott and two sons, Martin James Scott and Phillip Robert Scott who predeceased her in death along with her parents and many other friends and relatives.
Jacky was born in Sunrise, Wyoming on February 5, 1928, to Robert and Gladys Parks. She graduated from Fremont County Vocational High School in Lander, Wyoming and went on to attend Cottey College in Missouri. She married James Scott in 1948. Jacky worked at the court house for several years before opting to stay home with her children. She later went to work for Chuck Spurlock's engineering firm and worked there for many years.
Jacky was an avid collector who collected coins, stamps, dolls, and antiques. Her passion was collecting dolls. She found much enjoyment in researching and collecting old bisque dolls. Everywhere she traveled she was on the lookout for dolls or doll clothing.
One of Jacky's life changing events was her baptism into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1976. As a member, she gave of her time freely by serving in the young women's organization and other positions in the church. She also participated in family history work by searching out the lives and significant events of thousands of her ancestors.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Bonny Scott of Lander, her son and daughter-in-law Lincoln and Darlene Scott of Lander, her daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and John Funk of McKinney, Texas and her daughter-in-law Leesa Scott of Draper, Utah. She has two living brothers Eric Raecke Jr and David Raecke. She was predeceased by brothers Robert Neal and Louis Raecke. Jacky leaves 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Jacky will be buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander following a funeral service held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on May 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM and a visitation will start prior to services at 9:00 AM in the Relief Society Room at the Church.. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mrs. Scott's life.
