Jacqueline Brown passed away May 7, 2016. A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, May 13 at the Chapel of Mount Hope at Hudson's Funeral Home 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander, Wyoming. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 626 Shoshone, Lander, Wyoming
Jacqueline Elizabeth Warren was born July 23, 1923 in Riverton, Wyoming to James G. Warren and Ellen (Rutherford) Warren.
The family moved to Illinois. In the spring of 1929 they moved to Crow Agency, Montana where they lived for 10 years. They moved to Xenia, Illinois where Jacque went her last 2 years of high school; she graduated June 2, 1941.
She married William M. Brown, June 9, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri; eight children were born to this marriage. They were divorced in 1965.
She worked for Husky Super Stop Café, Bishop Randall Hospital, and Gambles Store. She volunteered as a Foster Grandmother in the first grade at West Elementary. She enjoyed reading, knitting and sewing. She was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by children, Dorothy Pence of Lander, Victoria Gifford of Georgia, Paul Brown of Lander, John Brown of Washington, Jeanne Beemer of Riverton, Joe (Brenda) Brown of Landerand Dennis Brown of Lander; sisters, Gwen (Charles) Schofield of New Mexico, and Erzelda (John) Boyd of Billings, Montana; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; her son James Brown; two grandsons and a great- great granddaughter and grandson.
