Funeral services for Jacque F. Scott of Lander will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, September. 28, at the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home in Lander.


Mrs. Scott died on Monday September. 21, 2009, at the Northern Montana Care Center in Havre, Mont., where she had been receiving treatment for cancer. She was 80 and both of her daughters were at her side at her death


Jacque Francis Lang was born on October. 24, 1928, in La Habra, Calif. to Albert Francis Lang and Ruby Blanche (Hayes) Lang. She attended schools in Long Beach Calif., and was graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She also attended Long Beach Community College where she studied commercial art.


She married Joseph Walter Scott on April 25, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1998.


Her family said Mrs. Scott loved to work in her yard. They said she also enjoyed sewing and made a quilt for each new great grandchild.


Mrs. Scott Jacque worked for many years beside her husband, running the State Farm Insurance office in Lander until their retirement.


Mrs. Scott is survived by two daughters Kathy Huff and her husband Philip of Havre, Mont., and Martha Tucker and her husband John of Redlands, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Shawna Huff Fillmore and her husband Cory of Salt Lake City, Utah, Wendy Knapp Jacob and her husband Dale of Arizona, Jayleen Huff Shane and her husband Jeff of West Jordan, Utah, Christopher Knapp of Phoenix, Ariz., Matthew Huff and his wife Rebeccah of Havre, Mont., Marissa Lytle and her husband Jason of Lander, Scott Huff and his wife Julie of Bakersfield, Calif. and Tyler Huff of Salt Lake City, Utah; 17 great grandchildren.


Arrangements are by Hudson's Funeral Home of Lander.
