Ivan L. Wagon died Thursday evening, April 9, at the Lander Regional Hospital. He was 71.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, at Rocky Mountain Hall at Fort Washakie.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, at the funeral home with wake from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, at Rocky Mountain Hall.
Ivan Wagon was born on December. 12, 1939, in Fort Washakie, the son of Ralph Wagon and Mary Ann Bishop.
He made his home on the Wind River Reservation.
Mr. Wagon's family said he enjoyed playing baseball, riding horses, and going fishing.
He worked as a security guard at the sundances at Fort Washakie.
Mr. Wagon is survived by his sisters, Maritte Riley, Vera Martin, Mildred Allierson, and Leona Allierson; brother, Robert Allierson; uncles, John Myers of Lander and Gene Myers; his sons, Terry Wagon of Allen, Okla., and Watson Wagon of Connerville, Okla.; daughters, Angie Lewis of Sulphur, Okla., Elaine Byars of Ravia, Okla.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
