Funeral Services for Henry Everett "Hank" Puffe will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Lander. Visitation will be 4:00pm – 7:00pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home. Henry Puffe was sent to his Heavenly Father on July 10, 2010 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.
Henry Puffe was born on December 17, 1929 in Tenstrike, Minnesota to Clement Puffe and Hazel Kruger.
Henry enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1948 and served during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and dancing. He also loved collecting antiques.
In 1949 he married Donna Ingersol and they had six children. He moved his family to Lander in 1962, and was employed by U.S. Steel as a diesel mechanic for 30 years.
Survivors include; 5 children, Judy (Willie) LoneBear of Lander, Wyoming, Pam (Garret) Nancolas of Caldwell, Idaho, Jayn (Rick) Milonas of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Bryan (Merry) Puffe of Caldwell, Idaho, and Greg (Teresa) Puffe of Nampa, Idaho; one brother, Lloyd Puffe; 2 sisters, Evelyn Scherle and Shirley Lueck; many grand children and great-grand children.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Gladys Puffe and daughter, Peggi Morris.
