Harold E. Cecrle, of 43 Dutch Ed Ln, Lander Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2026. He was 96 and died at home, of natural causes, surrounded by family.
He was born on October 8, 1929 to Robert F. and Deloris M. Cecrle in Knox County Indiana. He loved horseback riding, wood working, hunting, and fishing. Over time he worked as a carpenter in addition to working for Bendix, Uni-dynamics, Motorola, Intel and eventually co-owned Photon, and Three S that designed and produced the machines that cut silicon wafers into computer chips. His knowledge of the machinery that produces computer chips led him to eventually help set up production lines for plants that produced computer chips in Europe and Asia. He loved the Lord whom he faithfully served since his baptism at the age of 12. A man of integrity, he had a strong work ethic, faith, and love of his family.
He is survived by his sister Adeline P. North of Elkhart IN, and his brother Daniel E. Cecrle of Gautier MS. His children are Janet D. Ward and Larry of Crumpler, NC, Robert H. Cecrle and Theresa of Lander, WY, and Judy D. Cecrle of Vernal, UT. He has 9 grandchildren: Robert P Cecrle and Jessica of Lander WY, Tabitha L. Naughton and Chris of Wilmore, KY, Suzy A. Sholar of Mesa, AZ, Jonathan D. Ward and Ashley of Cuba, NY, Ivan Erikson of Gilbert, AZ, William E. Cecrle and Sunshine of Redmond, OR, David B. Ward and Holly of Brentwood TN, Sonya J. He was preceded in death by his wife JoAn Maxine Styer Cecrle, 5 nephews, and 1 niece.
A celebration of Life will be held May 9, 2026, at 4 pm at the First Nazarene Church of Lander, Wyoming (201 Amoretti St. Lander, WY). A meal and fellowship time will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. There will be a private burial service at a later date.
