Germaine M. Wayt

Germaine M. Wayt died in her home in Lander on December 18, 2013. She was born on January 26, 1927 to Kerry Trimmer in Kennan, Wisconsin. She married William Wayt in 1955. Germaine relocated to Lander in 1967 with her family. She worked for and enjoyed caring for the Wyoming State Training School residents for several years. She later moved to Lorenzo, Nebraska with her husband and continued to be a caregiver in that community until her retirement. She moved back to Lander this year to be with her family. She enjoyed traveling, old movies, was an avid reader, and loved being with her family.
Germaine was preceded in death by her husband, William Wayt.
She was survived by children, Wayne (Pam) Wayt of Lander, Glen Wayt of Casper, Mark Wayt of Shoshoni; siblings, Ruth (Vic) Pignatari of Wisconsin, Helen (Orville) Krings of Wisconsin, Marie Foss of Wisconsin, Butch Krell of Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
