Garrett Stanley Revere Sr., 65, of Denver, Colorado died in Denver and was found on February 2, 2025. The Wake Service will begin 6:00 pm, Sunday, February 9, 2025, in the Blue Sky Hall, Ethete, Wyoming. The All Night Wake will then continue in the Family Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Monday, February 10 also in the Blue Sky Hall with Military Honors and then burial will follow in the Friday Family Cemetery, Ethete, Wyoming.
Garrett was born on June 9, 1958, in Lander, Wyoming to Victor Revere Sr and Laura Whiteplume Revere. He went to grade school at Mill Creek School, Lander Valley High School, Laramie High School, and Central Wyoming College. He joined the United States Army and later joined the Wyoming National Guard and even later went to Washington D.C. to work for Senator Craig Thomas. He developed his skills as a leather and rawhide craftsman. He also loved to socialize, and visit and believed in his ceremonial ways. His Sundance grandfather was the late Adam Shakespeare. He loved life, and enjoyed it to the fullest.
Survivors include his son, Garrett S. Revere Jr.; daughters, Shandal L. Revere, Shaylin K. Revere; grandchildren, Lillian K. Mitchell, Kayla Marie Strong, Gage Revere; special granddaughter, Avery N. Perry; special grandson, Vaughan J. Whiteman; brother, Leroy V. Revere; sisters, Mary J. Whiteman, Victoria R. (Lawrence) Saunders, and a lot of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Victor Revere Sr; mother, Laura (Whiteplume) Revere; brothers, Paul Revere Sr., Victor Revere Jr., Reuben J. Revere, Michael T. Revere (infant brother); sisters, Virginia L. Revere, Renee A. Sitting Eagle, Marian J. Romano, and Cynthia M. Brown.
