Gail Rosalee George

Gail Rosalee (Kelly) George went home to be with her Savior on July 10, 2021. Rosalee was born in Grove  City, PA to Medal of Honor recipient Technical Sergeant John Daniel Kelly and Mary Esther (McCauslin) Kelly.

She was a graduate of Grove City High School. Rosalee married Paul Lester George also of Grove City and a Grove City College alumni. Rosalee and Paul enjoyed a military life for 26 years when Paul retired as a Colonel in the Air Force.

Upon retirement, they moved to Lander, WY - the place she loved the most. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and many outdoor activities until Paul's death in 1996.

Rosalee loved playing bridge and being a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lander. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.

In 2019, Rosalee moved to Reno, NV to be closer to family.

She is survived by her daughters Coleen DeLong (Steve) and Paula George Staples (Michael) and her three grandsons, Mitchell (Paisly), Brandon, and Bryce.

Funeral services for Rosalee will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m., Monday, July 19th with Rev. Scott MacNaughton officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.
