Gabriella Yvonn Thunder

Funeral services for Gabriella Yvonn "Gabbi" Thunder will be Monday, October 28, 2024, at 10:00am at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete.  Evening services will be Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 7:00pm at Blue Sky Hall.  A wake will follow at the St. Michaels Parish Hall in Ethete.  Burial will be at Armour Cemetery.

Gabbi died Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at her family home in Ethete surrounded by her loved ones.  She was 30 years old.

Gabbi was born April 20, 1994, in Lander, Wyoming to Andrea Willow Thayer and the late William "Booey" Thunder.  Gabbi was raised by Rhonda and Lawrence McCabe Sr.

Gabbi spent majority of her life on the Wind River Reservation.  She attended Wyoming Indian Schools and Central Wyoming College.  She worked various jobs but spent most of her working time as a table games dealer at the Wind River Casino.

Gabbi was of the Episcopal faith and participated in traditional ceremonies.

Gabbi enjoyed her life to the fullest extend she could.  She enjoyed being in the company of others who enjoyed her presence.  She went on many adventures and participated in many hobbies.  Your hobby was her hobby, and she would make it worth your while for including her!  She had many family and friends.  Many friends she called family.  She was the biggest supportive sister and auntie mom to her family.  Holidays were her time.  She would take each holiday and make her family celebrate them with flare.  Gabbi always took the time to be with her siblings, daughters, and sons.  Each person in her life has their own stories and experiences with her.  No story is the same!

Gabbi is survived by her mom's Andrea and Rhonda and dad Lawrence.  Her brothers Josiah Bell, Antonio Willow, Theotis (Belynn) McCabe.  Her sisters Billie Willow, Breanna Brown, and Danielle Fast Horse.  Her grandparents Debra K Antelope and Rodney Willow.  Her aunts Louise Wheeler (Chris), Rosemary Willow, Priscilla Guzman, Melisa Antelope, Tammi Pongah, and Starla Sorrels.  Her uncles Gabriel Willow, Travis Thayer (Lisa), Tremayne Thunder, Chief Thunder.  Her little brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews she took as her kids!

Gabbi is preceded in death by her dad Booey.  Her brother Lawrence McCabe Jr.  Her grandparents Virginia Louise Thunder, Virginia Antelope, Oliver and Evelyn Willow, Clara Thunder Thayer, Cleone and William Calling Thunder Sr.  Her uncles Thane Thunder and Stephen Fast Horse.

Gabbi has many more family members who she is survived by and has preceded her in death.  We apologize for those whose names are missed.  As Gabbi would say "Chaaaa" I didn't forget about any of you guys!
