Florence Elaine McLeod

Florence Elaine McLeod, age 83, of Fort Washakie Wyoming passed away Sunday December 21st, 2025, at Billings Clinic Hospital in Billings, Montana.

Florence, the daughter of Ernest Hill & Alice Barney was born on September 13th, 1942. In her early years she grew up on South Fork at Perry-Barney residence then in her pre-teen years she grew up in Crow Heart, WY with Samuel & her favorite aunt Dorothy Nipwater. Her teenage years she attended St. Helens School at Great Falls, MT. She attended Chilocco Indian School, Chilocco Oklahoma (1959-1963) After High School she attended Albuquerque Indian School of Nursing at Albuquerque New Mexico (1963-1965) Then in 1965 she married Philbert N. McLeod. Florence is survived by her children Anthony D Hill Sr., Kenny McLeod, Percille McLeod, & Jacqueline McLeod. Grandchildren, Antoine Tidzump (Gladys), Antonia Hill, Anthony D Hill Jr. (Kyriea), Timothy Hill, Russell Hill, Elway Hill, Cameron & Rylan Hill, Kevin Eagle, Jocelyn Enos, Rianne Enos, Salome "Gigi" Enos, & Preston McLeod. Great Grandchildren: Karliah Basina, Antoine Tidzump Jr. "Lil tonez", Falyn Tidzump, Antoria Tidzump "Tori", Lennox Hill, Richie Hill, Titus Hill, Alysiana Hill, Alysandra Hill, Ellie Hill, Kwinsee Hill, Easton Hill. Great Great Grandchildren, Antonix Vasquez-Hill. Other loved one's sister Ivora Hill (Newlynn Ridley, Quenton Ridley, Mackenzie Ridley, Chaske Ridley “Flying-Bear”), Beverly Hill & family, Daisy Hill (Felicia & family, Kimmy & family, Johnette "BJ" Hill & family), brothers Delford Hill & Drew Farmer. Niece: Leslie St.Clair, Nephew Adam Hill & family, David Shakespere & family, Tammy, Otis Osbourne, grandson Jordan St.Clair Proceeded in death by her father Ernest Hill, her mother Alice Barney, her favored aunt Dorothy Barney-Nipwater, Paternal grandparents Hunting & Viola Hill, Maternal grandparents Hiddo & Nana Isis-Barney, Her son Ryan McLeod, siblings Delilah Hill, Claudine Hill, Leslie Hill, Eddie Hill, Charlene Perry, Ernestine Hill, Niece’s Lawayne Hill-Ridley, Ryanna Hill, Audra Hill, Faye Hill, Nephew’s Shawn Ridley & Douglas St. Clair, Grand-children Willie-Taylor Hill & Dayson Cola Bear-Ridley.

An all-night wake will take place at the Rocky Mountain Hall (19 N Fork Rd, Fort Washakie, WY 82514) on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m.

The funeral will also take place at the Rocky Mountain Hall on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
