.                 Ferlon Blaine Willow Sr. was born May 18, 1976 in Lander Wyoming to Cora Willow and Ira Dennis Tillman.

Ferlon was raised on the Wind River Reservation and lived his whole life there.

He went to school at Wyoming Indian and Wind River High School.  He then married Varna Augustine in November 1995.  Out of that marriage, two sons were born, Ferlon Willow Jr. and Juwan J. Willow.  Ferlon Sr. was very proud of his sons. One graduating from U.W. and the other graduating nursing school at CWC.

Ferlon Sr. loved Cowboying and worked different places being a cowboy. He was also a Wildland Fire Fighter contracting out as a fire engine boss.  When not working, he would spend a lot of time with family and friends.

He comes from a large family on the Arapaho and Shoshone side and has many friends from all over. Ferlon Sr. was a loving person who loved to laugh, tell stories and terrorize everyone.  He had a good sense of humor and loved his family, and relatives and surely be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his mother, Cora Willow; sons, Ferlon Jr, Juwan Willow; brothers, Darren, Duane, and Tony Willow; Melvin and Clina L.T.S & family; Nadar and Yvondra Buffalo & family; David, Nora
Frexl & family; Mary Soundingsides & family; Georgia Willow & family; Forest Whiteman & family; families of Willows, Felters, Gamblers, Lonebears, and Browns; friends, Dennis Shoulderblade, Loyd Goggles, Rocky Sage, Shawn and Sacheen Brown & family.

His father, Ira D. Tillman; sisters, Christine Ferris & Raelyn Ferris; brothers, Rodrick (Susan) Tillman & family, Albert Tillman & family; uncles, George Leanord, Starr (Janet) Weed Jr., & (Eugene) Tillman Jr. and family; aunts, Charlene Tillman & family, Zelma Weed Bell & family, Darlene Weed McGill & family, Rose (Dean) Goggles & family, Leola (Vince) White & family, Flora Burnett & family, Marilyn Weed Tillman & family, Elaine Weed & family, (Wilma) Harvey Spoonhunter & family, and (Linda) Blaine & family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Willow, Clina (Lonebear) Willow, Damon Willow, and Idal Friday Willow; great great grandparents, Pete LoneBear and Cora (Gambler) LoneBear; his grandmother, Lorraine (Leonard) Tillman, Weed; grandfathers, Eugene Tillman Sr., Starr Weed Sr., & Albin Leonard; great grandmothers, Ethel Wesaw Leonard Robertson Tillman, and Nelly Washakie; uncles, Kenny Tillman and Eugene Tillman Jr.; aunties, Linda Blaine, Wilma Weed Spoonhunter, Ilene Weed, and Mary Weed; also the other families, Tracks, Norahs, Robertsons, Leonards, and Weeds.

Public Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:30 pm, Sunday, July 28, 2024, in the Blue Sky Hall, 490 Ethete Road, Ethete, WY 82520. The All Night Wake will then continue in the Family Home, 7 Lone Bear Lane, Ethete, WY. The Funeral Service will be 10 am, Monday July 29, 2024 back in the Blue Sky Hall. Burial will follow in the Willow Family Cemetery
