Emmanuel Seth Tyler

Emmanuel Seth Tyler, 53, of Fort Washakie, Wyoming, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Fort Washakie, Wyoming.

The visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the St. David's Episcopal Church (189 Trout Creek Rd, Fort Washakie, WY 82514).

The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, also at St. David's Episcopal Church in Fort Washakie, Wyoming. Interment to follow at Sacajawea Cemetery in Fort Washakie, Wyoming.

Seth was born on May 17, 1972 to Tim Tyler & Ula (Washington) Tyler in Lander, Wyoming.

He attended Fort Washakie Headstart, Elementary/Jr. High School, and graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1989. He continued his education at Metro State College (Colorado) and received an Associates Degree in Business Management and Minor in psychology.

He held many jobs in Food Industry and Management from Wyoming State Training School, Jeff County Sheriffs Department, Casa Bonita, Alliant, Shoshone Rose Casino, Morning Star Manor, and many more.

He loved to cook , socialize, draw, write, listen to music, and spend time with family. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Seth was also getting reconnected with his Shoshone Culture, learning to sing Peyote Songs.

Seth is survived by his son, Carter Seth; mother, Ula Tyler; niece, Laureen Tyler; granddaughters, Carmen (Matthew) Underwood, Rebecca Tyler, Maria Tyler; great-grandchildren, Trehero Underwood, Lelianne Underwood, Lucette Underwood, Santiana Tyler; many relatives from the Tyler, Washington, Lujan, Snow, Ute, Tinno, Coando, and so many others, if you were missed please forgive us.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Tim Tyler; brothers, Nathaniel Tyler, Louis Tyler, Vernon Tyler; sisters, Adriane Tyler, Baby Girl (Stillborn); grandparents, Charles A. Tyler, Esther (Ute) Tyler, Lily Washington, and Charles Washington.
