Eileen Claire Reedy

Eileen Claire Bable Reedy, 86, a longtime resident of Lander, Wyoming passed away peacefully at Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, on November 5, 2024.  Born November 19, 1937 in Beaver Falls, PA she was the daughter of the late Erwin C. Bable and Martha J. Bable.  Eileen is survived by her loving husband of over 65 years, Navy Veteran, Thomas Reedy who she married on August 10, 1959.  Eileen was preceded in death by her sister, Leahrae B. Willard, formerly of Leonardtown, Maryland.  Eileen has been a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church of Lander for 43 years.

Through the years, Eileen and Tom had a very active lifestyle. Tom, a pilot, enabled them to enjoy many trips taking in a birds-eye-view of the Wyoming landscape. They also enjoyed hiking and would set out with a picnic in tote to explore the lush forests and take in the serene countryside of the Roaring Fork area along with their other favorite Wyoming spots. Eileen and Tom had a passionate love for their pets, who always joined them on their adventures.

Eileen was a tender heart who deeply appreciated the beauty of God's creation, animals and care organizations. She had meaningful friendships that she maintained throughout her life, talking with her beloved friends and family, almost daily.
