Edward William Mudge

Edward W. (Eddie) Mudge, Jr., 85, of Thermopolis, Wyoming passed away on February 5, 2017. A visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Monday, February 27th at the Chapel of Mount Hope in Hudson's Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm on Monday, February 27th at the Chapel of Mount Hope in Hudson's Funeral Home and burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.

Eddie was born November 15, 1931, in Lander, Wyoming to Edward W. Mudge and Edna Thoren Mudge.He lived in central Wyoming most of his life.Ranch life filled his early years, followed by living in Themopolis and other Wyoming towns.For those who knew Eddie throughout his life, he was known to be one of the few people of whom it can be said he never met a person who didn't like him.Eddie continually had a keen sense of justice and the right thing to do.Within his ability, he never failed to exemplify that trait.He was ready to go fishing or talk about airplanes at any opportunity.Themopolis Health Care, where he was much loved, was his residence for his final years.

Eddie is survived by his sister Kay (Mark) Landerdahl of Peoria, IL, his cousins Bill (Francis) Thoren and Don (Kathleen) Thoren, and many nieces and nephews and their children.Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother Robert, and his niece Lisa Knigge.
