Dorothy "Dot" Irene Ashby

Dorothy ( Dot ) Irene Ashby of Lander, Wyoming passed from this life on July 22nd 2019. She was 78 years old born April 3rd 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Mel Ashby on July 4th 1960 while he was serving in the Air Force. They moved to Australia to help with the church and lived there for 8 years. They moved back to the U.S. and settled in Lander in 1975. Dot loved her church family and she loved to read books and travel to see family. She was a very outgoing person and always had a smile for everyone.
She is survived by her son Don Ashby and his wife Barb. Her daughter Melanie Horton and her husband Travis. Grandchildren Leann, Kara and Josh and his wife Courtney. She is proceeded in death by her husband Mel Ashby.
Services will be held Saturday 7/27/2019 at 10:00 am at the Church of Christ 1320 Sinks Canyon Rd Lander, Wyoming Burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery Lander, Wyoming
