Donna Mae Robeson, 91, passed away 2/28/19 after a short illness and stay in the hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church at 339 Sweetwater Street, Lander, WY.Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, from 5 to 7 PM at Hudson's Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander.

Donna was born on May 19, 1927 to Donald and Violet Sherlock in Rock Springs, Wyoming, since there was no hospital in South Pass where the family resided.She was a lifelong resident of Lander after moving at a young age from South Pass where her family ran the hotel and general store. In 1954 she married Edward (Ted) Robeson and for a short period they moved around for Teds work until returning to settle in Lander. They were married 58 years before Ted passed away in 2012.

Donna was an active member of First Baptist Church in Lander and involved with Sunday School and Ruth Circle for many years as well as serving as deaconess.She was very interested in family history and in the history of the Lander area especially South Pass.An avid reader and a fan of mysteries and also enjoyed sewing and gardening.She was involved for many years with Eastern Star and was Worthy Matron after holding other offices in that organization.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward E. (Ted) Robeson, two siblings, her brothers Bill Sherlock and John Sherlock.Survivors include her sister, Alice Claire Butler in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter Pegge Sanders of Boise, Idaho, son Steven Robeson (Marilyn) of Lander and daughter Nanci Hardy who came to live with her these last few years in Lander. Seven grandchildren: Trevor and Heath Hardy, Lisa Troutt and David Sanders, Brianand Tim Robeson, Laura Nordson.Eight Great Grandchildren:Brandon Hardy and Easton, Archer, Olivia, Ames, Andrew and Eliza Robeson and Darius Nordson.Also five nieces (Norene Stafford, Lyn Lewis, Anna Hagans, Janet Butler and Rebecca Weisser) and four nephews (James, John, David and Phillip Butler). Various cousins and relatives and friends who she considered family.
