Donald F. Morrow, 87, of Lander, died on December 30, 2020 at Westward Heights. Don was born August 31, 1933 to Tacia L. Morrow in Denver, Colorado. He was raised on the family farm in Limon Co. and worked as a seismograph (doodlebugger) for several years, until he was hired at the Atlantic City US Steel mine. Where he worked for 20 years, when US Steel closed. He went to work at Brasel and Sims Construction in Lander, WY. From there Don and Lee moved to Challis ID worked at the Cypress mine for 5 years until it closed. Moved back to Lander and worked in the janitorial at Starrett Jr High until he retired. Don was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Lander since 1964 and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Don worked most Knights of Columbus bingo nights with his friend John Doughty. Don and his wife Marian were members of the Fremont County ATV Club. He loved to go 4 wheeling with his family and his good friend Bill Hines. He taught his family the love of the outdoors, hunting and camping. A hidden talent was his skill as a wood carver. He was always ready when anyone of his children needed him.
Don is survived by his lovely wife, of 19 years, Marian Morrow; his 5 children, Donna (Joe) Johnson of Challis, ID, Mike (Elaine) Morrow of Palmer, AK, Terry (Mike) Federer of Lander, Sherry Stagemeyer of Mesa AZ, Susan Sturgeon of Aurora CO; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Don is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Leonarda (Lee) Morrow; mother, Tacia L Morrow; grandparents; beloved aunt, Lucille; aunts; uncles; grandson, Simon Sturgeon; cousin, Gene Meredith; and cousin by marriage, Bob Monks.
