Delean Ann McOmie Bindl, 68, of Lander, Wyoming died on November 24, 2015 in Casper, Wyoming. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday December 2nd at the Chapel of Mount Hope Hudson's Funeral Home.A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1st, at the Chapel of Mount Hope Hudson's Funeral Home.
Delean was born September 27, 1947 to Delbert J McOmie and Willia Jean Jones in Lander, Wyoming.
Delean was a member of the Choir in High School and she participated in Pep Club; she graduated in 1966. She was a cook, and was an accounting secretary. Delean enjoyed working for The Lander Pioneer Museum with Tom Bell, Henry Hudson, and Jean Mathison-Haugen. She enjoyed her time looking into the "Cattle Kate" story. She loved swimming in Thermopolis with her family. She loved watching the Hallmark Channel, playing cards; going and supporting her grandkids and great-grandkids in sports. Delean also enjoyed going to Mary Kay parties, and playing on her computer. She loved going to the casino, out for lunch, or ice cream or soda. She enjoyed listening to music; bowling and was a member of Ladies Axillary for the American Legion Club. But what made her face light up was seeing her great grandkids and spending time with her family and friends. Delean loved talking about Jesus and Eternity.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; husband, Ron Bindl; a son; brother-in-law's, Halley, Louis (Eileene) Bindl, Eddie Bindl and Ernie Dalhquist, Allan Scholz; nephew and nieceEddie and Cindy Bindl; great nephew, Seth Bindl; Miles Dietzet; Norbert (Marian) Bindl; Bill (Marian) Iriving; and numerous aunts and an uncle and cousins.
Survivors include Duffy and Darwin Glasgow; Veronica and Robbie Hitshew; Julie and Jason, Purvis; Tristean and Dave Grover; Kids, JJ, Lane and Jacob; Ron (Anika) Glasgrow; Abby and Cassidy Irvine; kids Noah, Jonah; Robert Hitshew, Randy (Jaquelynn) and Ravynn Purvis. Brothers Delbert (Pat), Don (Arlene), David (Suzanne) and Dan (Sheryle) McOmie; sister-in-lwas Nany Scholz, Bonnie Dalhquiest, Nita Bindl, Claudia Bindl, Donna Bindl and Butch Irving.
