Dean V. Spriggs

Dean Vallee Spriggs was born April 12, 1932 to Dean Vance Spriggs and Fanchon Muriel Phillips in Lander, Wyoming. He graduated Fremont County Vocational High School in 1952.
Dean served in the United States Army in Germany from 1954 to 1956; he was in the 6th Infantry Division, Fort Ord California Company D, 20th Infantry Regiment.
He fell in love with and married Elfrieda Melchhardt on January 20, 1957.
He worked for the City of Lander and retired in 1995. Dean was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dean loved hunting and fishing with Warren Spriggs. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Fanchon Spriggs and; sons, Dean V Spriggs Jr. and Tracy Troy Spriggs; sister, Ethel Spriggs.
Survivors include his wife, Elfrieda Spriggs; and granddaughter, Shaelyn Spriggs.
