David Shedd Kellogg, 80, of Lander, Wyoming died on April 9, 2024, in his home. The Mass of Christian Burial Memorial will be held a 1:00 pm, Monday, April 15, 2024, in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 163 Leedy Drive, Lander, Wyoming. Inurnment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 14, 2024.
David was born on December 2, 1943, to William Moffitt Kellogg and Dorothy Bertha Shedd in Glendale, California.
He married Carol Ann Grams on January 1, 1986. He studied at Oregon State University and Central Oregon College (Bend, Oregon) working in electronics technology. He also joined the Army National Guard enlisting from 1965-1970. He worked as a sales executive for IBM and Lexmark. He was a member of LEADER corporation in Lander. And was a long-time greeter for the One Shot Antelope Hunt. He was a member of the Order of Malta and the International Order of St. Hubertus. David was Chairman of the Board for many years at the Wyoming Catholic College (Lander). He was also a member of the Chesterton Society. David was an avid reader and lifelong learner. He built his own house in his late 50s, and he was an accomplished covert clocksmith.
David was preceded in death by his parents, William Kellogg and Dorothy Kellogg.
Survivors include wife, Carol Kellogg; daughters, Julia(Michael) Scheller, Abbey (Todd) Smith; grandchildren, Jonathan Riehl, AJ Smith, Christian Smith, Landen Smith; great-grandchildren, Tynlee Smith, Tayvian Smith, Ledger Smith; making the total of grandchildren 4, and great-grandchildren 3.

Dave will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was frugal yet generous to a fault. He will be greatly missed by his morning coffee group, the Friday afternoon scotch group, and the many people in his community that called him friend.
