David Daniel Day, Sr.

David Daniel Day Sr., 81 years old of Ethete, Wyoming died on November, 14 2017 at Help for Health Hospice in Riverton, Wyoming. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, Nov.20.2017 at Hudsons Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Drive in Lander, Wyoming.
David was born September 23, 1936 to Wilmer Weed Day and Madeline Lawton Day in Ft. Washakie, Wyoming.

He served in the military which included 20 years of service in the U.S Navy and 4 years in the U.S. Airforce. While serving he received the following medals: National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2nd Bronze Star, and Vietnam Campaign Medal with device.He enjoyed watching and reading westerns, fixing cars, and playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Mary J. Day, Granddaughter; Dawn M. Day, and Grandson; Jeffrey Day. Survivors include Dennis Day, Madelyn Day, Gregory Day, Wilmer Day, David Day Jr., William Day, 16 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
