David T. Cordova

David was born to Richard and Clorinda Cordova on April 2, 1959 in Dragerton, Utah.
Graduated high school in 1977, entered the United States Navy in January of 1978 and was stationed on the USS Blue Ridge until January of 1982. Following his discharge he moved to Kemmerer, Wyoming where he met his wife, Becky. They were married and had 2 daughters, Nina and Bri, along with his daughter Sonja.
David proudly served on the Kemmerer Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) for 9 years. In that time he worked for FMC & Utah Power & Light. He then moved the family to Rosk Springs, Wyoming where he worked for the post office, where he was the president of the UPWA. He later went into the oil field where he accomplished his biggest goal of obtaining his National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). He spent his retirement in Lander, Wyoming in his final days.
David had 11 grandchildren, Tamara Power, William Cordova, Letta Carrillo, David Jeffery, Makette Power, ZoeyJane Carrillo, Liberty Power, Izabelle Jeffery, Brandy Hinson, Bradley Hinson, and Desmond Hinson.
His hobbies were rock hunting, rock climbing, camping, fishing, exploring the great outdoors, and music of almost every genre.
David is survived by his wife, Rebecca Cordova; 3 daughters, Sonja Power, Cristina (Cordova) Carrillo and spouse, Mark Hinson, BriAnne (Cordova) Hinson and spouse, Brad Hinson; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Madrigal; brothers, James Cordova, Richard Cordova, Phillip Cordova, Travis Sass, and Greg Jennings.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Cordova; mother, Clorinda Cordova; nephew, Christopher Cordova; niece, Natalie Cordova, and son-in-law, Andy Carrillo.
