David K Atkinson

David K Atkinson, 88, of Lander, Wyoming, died on April 2, 2023. He was born on February 15, 1935 to Kenneth W Atkinson and Erma Elnora Goode in Vineyard, Utah County, Utah.

He graduated Lincoln High School in Utah. Served in Korea and after Korea worked at the Atlantic City Iron Ore Mine as a Railroad Transportation Supervisor from the time the mine opened until it closed.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth W & Erma Elnora Atkinson; son, David John Atkinson (from his second marriage but passed away in 2012); and brother, Dean Atkinson.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Loretta (Blehm) Atkinson; sister-in-law, Roxanna Brereton; niece, Dena Nafus (Tommy); nephews, Colby (Jenny) Atkinson, and Rodney Atkinson.
