Daryl Miles Alexander was born in Lander, Wyoming on July 25, 1953. A heart attack took his life on March 20, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30am, Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 626 Cascade, Lander, WY 82520. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Daryl was the son of Sterling and Catherine (Joliff) Alexander. He attended school in Hudson and was a graduate of Lander Valley High School where he was very active in athletics.In 1974, he married Jan Corry, also of Lander. They have a daughter Jeni Alexander Myers. They later divorced.
In his life, he had many occupations. Most recently, he worked for the Fremont County School District #1 in maintenance at Starett Junior High and at the Bruce Gresly Aquatic Center.
In 2001, he married Rebecca Spitznogle, and they created DARS Construction. Daryl is known for his sense of humor, generosity, strong work ethic and faith, love of family and friends, animals, the outdoors, and his beloved grandson Colin Myers.
Daryl is now reunited with both of his parents; two sisters, Naomi and AlReta; second wife, Bet Pascoe; and stillborn son Jared Miles.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; daughter, Jeni and her family; stepdaughters, Makaila and Whitney and their families; sisters, Charlene (Derrill) Price, Kay (John) Kitchen; brother, Duane (Kathy) Alexander; many nieces and nephews.
