Darlene Sarah Weed McGill passed away at the age of 72 on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at home surrounded by family. Darlene was born on May 24, 1953. Darlene was the daughter of Morning Starr Moses Weed and Lorraine Leonard Weed. Evening services will be held at Rocky Mountain Hall on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 6:00 pm, wake will be held at #2 Dead Horse Lane, Fort Washakie, Wyoming. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Burial will be at the Sacajawea Cemetery, the feast will follow at Rocky Mountain Hall. 

Darlene loved her grandchildren, great-granddaughters and great-grandson. She enjoyed watching her grandsons wrestle in high school, and her great granddaughters dance competitions. She enjoyed going to the Little Wind Casino and loved her friends, Nolita Wallowingbull, Miranda Felter and Micah Daniels. She enjoyed playing bingo, she did word search and crossword puzzles, and card game solitaire. She enjoyed going to the mountains, family dinners, and loved to bead various items. In her younger years she loved to ride horses. Darlene was a spectator who traveled with her daughter to rodeos, pow-wows and Indian Relay Races.
