Daphne Kay Engstrom

Daphne Kay Engstrom, 72, of Lander, Wyoming died on July 31, 2015 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4th at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Lander.

Daphne was born August 26, 1942 to Arthur and Mary Raetz in Deadwood, South Dakota.

She married Robert "Bob" Engstrom on December 19, 1968 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Riverton, Wyoming.They bought a home on Country Garden Lane where they resided together for 36 years and shared a love of raising children and peacocks.Later Daphne and Bob decided to move into town; Daphne took great pride in designing their home. Daphne cherished and loved her time raising her children. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Daphne worked for a Nursing Home in Riverton, Wyoming Department of Health, Wyoming Department of Employment, Fremont County Clerk and the Faith Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and quilting. She enjoyed connecting with friends and loved ones on Facebook. Daphne's faith in Christianity was strong and a very important part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Art and Mary Raetz; her son's, Rocky Roemmich and Clinton Roemmich; her grandma, Nora Moore; and her grandma Annie Miner.

Survivors include her husband Robert "Bob" Engstrom; sister, Shelia Norris; her children Robyn Alexander (Wade), Mathew Roemmich (JJ); Grandchildren, Jason Roemmich, Patricia Marnell (Rob), Christopher Roemmich (Karleena), Tyson Roemmich, Tad Facinelli, Taylor Alexander, Ty Alexander, Braden Roemmich, Jacob Weyer and Lyndzi Weyer; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Andrew, Elliana and Cora; one uncle and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
