Dale Raymond Runnberg

Dale Runnberg, 78, of Lander, Wyoming, died September 25th in Renton, Washington after a lengthy illness. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 5th at 10am. The service will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church located at 626 Shoshone Street in Lander, WY. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Dale was born and raised in Northern Minnesota and arrived in Wyoming 54 years ago. He worked at US Steel for 21 years and ComTech for 29 years. He was proud of his long term commitment to these companies. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing cards. He valued family above all and truly enjoyed helping others.
Dale is survived by Mary, his wife of 52 years; his daughters Lisa Runnberg (Jane) of Ranchester, WY and Kristi Donohue (Dan) of Renton, WA; his brother Don (Jean); nieces Randi and Gina (Joe) and their families, and close cousin Gary (Lorre), all of Minnesota. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Charlotte, Kathryn "Hitch" (Richard), and Jeanie (Mike); brothers-in-law Hub (Jolene), Warren (Sherry), Eugene (Phyllis), and Bob (Georgene) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mae Runnberg, sister-in-law Marlis Runnberg, dear aunt Leila Youngquist, and additional aunts, uncles, cousins, and members of his wife's family.
