Clyde Raymond Chapman

Clyde Raymond Chapman age 77 of Lander, Wyoming "Crossed Over The Divide" 03/08/2025.  Clyde was born on August 17, 1947 in Robinson Illinois, to Harold and Velma Chapman.  He grew up on Westlake where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping in the woods with his beloved dog Ladybug.  He attended grade school and graduated from Robinson High School in the class of 1965.  After working as a Caster at the Pottery he attended Lincoln Trail College where he graduated with an Associate Degree. After this he went to Southern Illinois University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  He had always wanted to live in the West and moved to Colorado where he met his wife Cathy.  Clyde loved the outdoors and was a member of Safari Club International and a Life Member of The National Rifle Association since 1966.  His love of hunting led him to make trips to Africa, Mongolia, Australia, Alaska and Canada.  He worked for Lockheed Martin as a Senior Industrial Engineer, in Denver Colorado before taking early retirement when he and Cathy moved to Wyoming in 1999.   He finished his working career at Pertech Industries, Inc. in Riverton, Wyoming.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother Anna Chapman .  He is survived by his wife Cathy.
