Carol May Trumbull, 75, of Ethete, Wyoming, died in her home on June 14, 2026. The Visitation will be in the St Joseph Catholic Church, 468 Ethete Rd, Ethete, WY 82520, 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The All Night Wake will then continue in the Trumbull Family Home, 814 Ethete Road, Ethete, WY 82520. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m., in the St Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Yellow Calf Cemetery, 50 Yellow Calf Cemetery Road, Ethete, WY 82520.
Carol Mae Trumbull - Pine Tree Women - See3 Hisei started her journey home on June 14, 2026 at the family home in Ethete, Wyoming.
Carol Mae was born on July 7, 1950, to Clarence Hermes “Buck” Trumbull & Rita Anna Warren-Trumbull. Carol was the second oldest .
She always held a strong belief in her heart for her Arapaho & Catholic Faith that carried her far in life.
She worked as a cook at Wyoming Indian, Ethete Senior Citizen Center, Summer food programs, and in her family home, getting triple-doubles in the kitchen.
In her younger years, she was a traditional dancer in her fully beaded buckskin dress that her grandparents got for her. She loved attending powwows and recently enjoyed the Arapaho powwow.
She loved supporting her grandchildren in all their activities, she never missed any of their events. She found a love for Indian Relay, Lexie Teton & the Teton Team.
Carol is survived by her nieces and nephews she took as her own, Aaron & Keri Linevald, John Arneach, Hattie, Jonielle, Katarina & Jordan Trumbull. Her grandchildren, Jayin, Jarrick Trumbull, Skyzon Mitchell, Savannah, Madisyn, Tsani, Andre, Khaleesi & Jionni Arneach. Ky & Wade Spoonhunter, Daniel, Aiyanna & Ayla Linevald, Takara Ferris, Surae, Marysa, Amara & Braylon Trumbull. Great-granddaughter Emriana Friday & another great granddaughter on the way. Sister, Christi Linevald. Her sister-in-law, Mary Trumbul. Her protectors, Rocco & Ice.
Extended families of Nora Trumbull-Brown, Wanda Trumbull-Brown, Clark Trumbull Jr., Evangeline Warren- Wallowingbull, Loretta Warren-Jones, Phillip Warren & Royce Yellowplume .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buck & Rita Trumbull. Brothers, Dean & Stan Trumbull, sisters, Geri & Cat Trumbull. Grandparents, Clark Trumbull St and Hattie Dancing King Trumbull. Gabriel Runs Medicine Warren & Cecelia Ridgley. Great grandparents, Avon Threebulls, Ransom Runs Medicine & Fast Runner.
