Bud Mitchell passed away in Hudson, WY September 23, 2015 at the age of 74. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Hudson Community Church in Hudson, WY.
Bud was born to Earl and Luella Mitchell on March 11, 1941 in Phoenix, AZ.At the age of 17, he enlisted in the Navy and served for 11 years.Later, he pursued a career as a mechanic and maintained his career for many years; he started in Sweethome, OR then moved to Prescott, AZ, then to Lander, WY and later moved back to Oregon. After all his children moved away from home, then he moved back to Hudson, WY. After moving back to Hudson, WY he became interested in logging, and lasted for many years up until he had to retire. Bud always devoted his life to God!
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Luella Mitchell; and nephew Jayson Mitchell.
He is survived by his brothers Howard and Darwin Mitchell. His children Wayne Mitchell Lander, WY. Daughters Kimberly Mitchell (Robert) Bem and Brenda Mitchell (Richard) Cox. Grandchildren Buddy Mitchell, Michael ( Heather) Mitchell, Michelle Bem, Chelsea Bem, Brianna Cox, Micca Cox, Kimberly LaJeunesse, Justin LaJeunesse, and Renee LaJeunesse. Nieces Kerry Strong and Trista Mitchell. Nephews Paul Mitchell, Grant Mitchell, Phillip Mitchell and Shayne Mitchell. And a few grandchildren.
