Bruce Lee Cool, 66, of Lander, Wyoming passed away on March 28, 2016 at Sage West Healthcare in Riverton, Wyoming. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Chapel at the Wyoming Life Resource Center in Lander. Burial will take place at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 4th at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.
Bruce Cool was born in Gillette, Wyoming, June 30, 1949. He was a long time resident of Lander, Wyoming and graduated from Lander Valley High School and attended Casper College.
He suffered a motor vehicle accident in 1969 and became disabled. His mother Irene Pedersen and his stepfather Carl Pedersen were able to care for Bruce until their deaths, after which Bruce was a resident of Westward Heights Care Center and then was able to transfer to the Visions Program located at the Wyoming Life Resource Center. He enjoyed wonderful care from many caregivers and healthcare workers whom he considered his friends. Bruce had a great sense of humor and liked people! He was involved in many leisure time and recreational activities. He attended many events in the community. Bruce enjoyed games, music, watching T.V. and being outdoors; camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Harris Pedersen and his stepfather, Carl Pedersen.
He is survived by his uncle and aunt, Don and Karen Harris of Naperville, IL and his uncle and aunt Willard and Debbie Pedersen of St. Paul, NE.
