Born June 8, 1965 departed on August 15, 2018 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Bonnie was the daughter of Harrison Bunny Shoyo Jr. and Angeletta Angie (Ute) Shoyo , born in Lander, Wyoming.Although visually disabled she never stopped doing things she loved and actively pursued them. Bonnie enjoyed gambling, listening to her audio books, spending time with family members, playing her guitar and other musical instruments and music in general. Also, social media, which allowed her opportunity to touch lives positively.She would always encourage our younger members of the family to pursue anything that made them happy.
She attended schools at Fort Washakie, South Dakota School for the Blind, Lander Valley High School, Casper Community College, where she was a member of the Calvary Marching Band, University of Wyoming, and Nebraska Commission for the Blind and visually impaired Orientation Center in Lincoln Nebraska.
She was previously employed with the U.S. Forest Service in Jackson, then later in Laramie also at the US Forest Service. She was married and resided for some years.She then relocated to Lincoln Nebraska, where she worked as a temp.She was involved in the National Federation of the Blind.Bonnie played guitar with the music ministry where she a member of the Calvary Chapel.She later relocated back home to Fort Washakie, where she was a care giver for her mother at the time of her passing.
She is survived by her mother Angie Shoyo, sisters Carolyn Shoyo, Tanna (Alan) Dieken, and Shanna Keeswood, brothers Bill Eastman Sr. Paternal Uncle Arlen Shoyo Sr., Paternal Aunts Bernie Shoyo & Catherine Standing Rock. Maternal Aunt, A. Joyce Posey, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.
Predeceased by close relatives:Father, Harrison Bunny Shoyo Jr., Sister Priscilla Kelly Shoyo, brother Jerome Shoyo; Grand Parents, Harrison Pete Shoyo Sr. & Anna M. (Pingree) Shoyo; Helmer Ute & Emma A. (Panzetanga) Ute.Uncles Dean & Randy Shoyo; Elias, Newman & Leo Ute; Aunts Marilyn Roberts & Lavonne Roanhorse; Mae Moon & Maxine Ute.
The family of Bonnie would like to thank all who have had a positive impact on their beloved family members life, also those who have expressed condolences, offered prayers and just kind thoughts and memories.She will be dearly missed, but we will see her again.
