Funeral services for Blaine Thomas Revere, 33, of Fort Washakie will be held on Thursday December 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Rocky Mountain Hall in Fort Washakie.Blaine passed away on December 10, 2011 near Fort Washakie. A evening service will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Rocky Mountain Hall in Fort Washakie and a wake will be held at the home of Virginia Posey at 1555 Paintbrush Loop, Fort Washakie at 9:00 PM.Burial will be in the Sacajawea Cemetery in Fort Washakie.Arlen Shoyo will be the celebrant.Hudson's Funeral Home of Lander is in charge of arrangements.
Blaine Thomas Revere was born to Otto "Thomas" Revere and Pauline Posey in Lander, Wyoming April 2, 1978.Blaine was a very generous, kind person always willing to help others.He was an active Sundance participant, a BIA firefighter, and as a laborer for the Shoshone and Arapaho Transportation program.He loved being around his family and was very proud of his boys.Blaine also believed in his traditional ways.
He is survived by his sons, Ryan Tiger, of Ft. Washakie, Wy and Cody Revere, of Fort Hall, Idaho, Sisters; Virginia Posey, Jolee Red Cherries Bird Chief, Selene Revere brothers; Christopher Posey Sr. and Justin Revere, numerous brothers and sisters.Grandparents; Carol and Rock Red Cherries, Pam Antelope, Judy Large, Audrey Sage, Emily Niedo, Grandpas; Terry Enos, George Enos, Aunts; Rose Siers, Doris Posey, Shirley Posey, Joyce Posey, Ruby Posey, Ernestine Little Tree and Leslie Trosper, Agnes Sanders, Marj Revere Alice, Shirlee Revere, Robert J & Ruth Mary Ridgley Goggles and Family Lydia Jenkins and familyVerna Thunder and family Clara Thunder and family,Uncles; Ernest Posey III, Ivan Posey and Myron Little Bird.The Bells family, Warrens Family, Chaves Family, Tall Bulls family, Runsabove Family, Ridgley Family, Wanstall Family, Martell Family, Enos Family, Hungary Family, Trumball Family and the Yellow Plume Family.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Ernest Posey Jr, aand Rose Red Cherries Posey and Arthur Otto Revere and Margaret Ridgley Revere, Uncles Mike Posey Sr., Daniel Posey, Maynard Posey Sr., and Dansyl Posey Sr., Aunt Nola Little Bear, brothers; Jason Coyote, Tony Posey, Mike Posey, Benard Posey and Maynard Posey, Jr. and a sister Christine Posey, Victor Revere & Laura Whiteplume Revere.
