Betty Lou Hastings-Wyrick

August 29, 1937 — June 9, 2015

Betty Lou Hastings-Wyrick passed away June 9th, 2015 peacefully surrounded by her 5 children and Loving Family. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, June 12 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Mount Hope Hudson's Funeral Home, Lander with Pastor Phil Ferguson officiating.

Betty was born Aug. 29, 1937 in Monument Ks. To Charles and Lena Hastings,Betty grew up in KS, Colo. And California, where she met her one and only Love James Wyrick, whom she Married June15, 1957. They had 5 children together. Betty graduated from Nursing School in 1968.

Betty and her 5 Children moved to Lander in 1971 where she began her career at WSTS, lasting 28years, WSTS wasn't just a job to Betty, it was her extended family and "kids" whom she Loved very much. Betty Loved spending time with her large family, crocheting, puzzles and CHRISTMAS!!!

Betty is survived by her children, Debbie and Chris Veach, Jim Wyrick Jr., Dan and Cate Wyrick, Becky and Greg Scott, Kathy and Dale Rhoades; 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Sister, Elizabeth Hastings; Uncle, James Baughn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was proceeded in death by her Husband James; Parents Charles and Lena; Brothers, Larry Hastings and Ralph Hastings; sister, Dorothy Hastings; and many Aunts and Uncles.
