Audrey Levon Hessling (Swaim), of Hudson, died October 7, 2010 in Riverton at the age of 90 years. The Funeral Service was 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 11, 2010. Burial was in the Hudson City Cemetery.
She was born October 13, 1919 to Clyde Swaim and Eithel Cross in Udell, Iowa. She later met and fell in love with Don Hessling. They were married on January 21, 1938 in Wheatland, Wyoming.
Grandma Hessling loved family reunions, singing, western music and especially loved serving God all her life. She also pursued her passion of oil painting Landscapes. Grandma Audrey loved the outdoors, the mountains and gloried in going on pack trips with her Outfitter husband in Dubois, Wyoming.
She is survived by her husband, Don Hessling; sons, Vic, wife Adele Hessling and Merl, wife Donna Hessling; daughter, Angela McWain; sister, Glenda Broomfield; brother, Lloyd, wife Hazel Swaim; sister-in-law, Shirley Swaim; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Eithel Swaim; daughter, Donnis Lavonda Tidwell; son, Gary Lee Hessling; brother, Floyd Swaim; great-grandson, Aaron Steadman; and great-great-grandson, Carson Steadman.
