Arlyn Chester Willow passed away on Monday, March 16th, 2015. Funeral arrangements with a rosary will be on Friday, March 20th, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Wake to follow at Willow Residence, 563 Blue Sky Highway in Ethete. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, March 21st, 2015 at Blue Sky Hall at 10:00 a.m., Ethete, Wyoming. Burial will follow at Sharpnose Cemetery off of Givens Road, Ethete, Wyoming. Services under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home.

Arlyn was born in Lander, Wyoming on July 1st, 1975 to Elizabeth Ann YellowBear and John Earl Willow Jr.Arlyn Grew up on the Wind River Reservation in Ethete and attended Wyoming Indian Schools and graduated from Wyoming Indian High School. Arlyn learned to play the guitar when he was a teenager and knew numerous Heavy Metal songs and played for his family and friends.

Arlyn met his wife Shauna Lee Dewey, whom he loved with all his heart, and they had 6 children. They made their home in Riverton and St. Stephens, Wyoming. She preceded him in death two and a half years ago.

Arlyn was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribal Transportation Program where he worked for many years with his father John Earl and brother Theron. He also worked in Gas Hills, Wyoming for the Uranium Reclamation Project.

Arlyn loved life and enjoyed spending time with his children, his family and hanging out with all his "Bro's," camping and going on family outings in the Wind River Mountains.

Arlyn is survived by his parents, his children Lisa and Jo Gaines-Bell, Tyreke Dewey, Arlyne, Leo, Mason and Madison Willow, Grandparents Lucy Willow, Alvena Oldman, Alvena Friday, Florence Redman, Hubert Redman, Ada May Burgess, Irma and Felix Groesbeck and Joyce Hutchinson. Sisters: Bernie Willow Spoonhunter and family, Angelica YellowBear and family, Martha and Vincent Kilcrease and family. Brothers: Preston, Theron and Tamara and family, Michael and Joshua Willow. Mitchell "Jude" Warren Jr., Cameron C'Bearing, Gary Antelope and Shane Wesaw.

Aunts: Eloise and Stacey Stewart and family, Margie Willow and family, Joan Willow and family, Veronica and Dominic Addison and family, Christine Willow and Warren Niedo and family, Linda Willow and family, Eloise YellowBear and family and Lorrina YellowBear and family.

Arlyn was preceded in death by his wife, Shauna Lee Dewey, Brother, John Earl Willow III, Grandparents, John Earl Willow, Sr., Calvin YellowBear Sr., Mary E. and Philip Bear, Oliver and Evelyn Willow, Arnold and Margaret Headley and Vincent Redman Sr., Uncles, Andrew YellowBear Sr., Calvin YellowBear Jr., and Kenneth Willow.
