Ardis Elaine Erickson

Ardis Elaine Wise Erickson, 77, of Fort Washakie, Wyoming, died in her home. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the Sacajawea Cemetery, Fort Washakie.

Ardis was born on November 27, 1948, to Frank Wise and Helen Eleanor Tarness Wise in Fort Washakie, Wyoming.

She was enrolled in the Eastern Shoshone Tribe on the Wind River Indian Reservation. She attended Fort Washakie Elementary School and graduated from Lander Valley High School. She loved being a homemaker, beading, and spending time with family and friends.

Ardis was preceded in death by Cheryl G. Hill Wise, Hamen Wise, Ida Wise, Frank Wise, Wilford Wilson Hill Jr., and Sonny Wilson Hill.

Survivors include her son, Ramon Benson Wise; first cousin, Ida Brown and family; nephew, John Crispin Jr., grandkids, Alicia and Abby LaJeunesse; grandkid, Corey James Hill; Teresa M. LaJeunesse, Michelle Crispin, Larae Shakespeare, Aline Kitchen, Shannon Hill and family, Trudi Coando, Clayton Coando; other grandkids, family, and friends.

Graveside Service, 10 am, Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the Sacajawea Cemetery, Fort Washakie, Wyoming. Feast and Giveaway will follow in the Rocky Mountain Hall, 10:30 am, the same day.
