Annie Jean Brodie was born to Jack Sr. and Anna Jean Robertson Brodie on November 16, 1921 in Lander, Wyoming. She was the oldest of two children.
A Memorial Service has been planned for 10:00am, on Friday, April 13, 2012 in the Hudson's Funeral Home, Chapel of Mount Hope, 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander, WY.
She attended Grade and High School in Lander, Annie Jean furthered her education by attending the University of Wyoming from 1939-1941, transferring to the University of Nebraska, School of Nursing from 1941 until 1944.
Annie Jean was a member of the United Methodist Church. She married Roy John Anesi, on January 2, 1947. The couple had a son, Douglas Roy Anesi and a daughter, Janet E (Taylor) Mullins.
Annie Jean was employed as a Registered Nurse from 1944 until the time of retirement in May 1974. Working for the late Dr Wilmoth, Bishop Randall Hospital and later the South Side Grade School.
She served on the Fremont Counseling Board from 1981 until 1988. Annie Jean also served on the Westward Heights Nursing Home Board from 1985 until 1995. She was a member of Borners Garden Extension Club for many years. Many summers while her children were growing, She was the Nurse at the Youth Camp for the 4-H camp sessions as well as traveling the state with the Lander Junior Sheriff Posse.
Annie Jean enjoyed spending time with family, and friends, working outside in her yard, her flower and vegetable gardens, walking and crocheting.
Due to health reasons at the time of her passing away, Annie was a resident of Westward Heights Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughter Janet E Mullins, Janets 2 daughters Anita Jean Moore and Heidi Anesi. Annie's son and his wife Doug and Debbie Anesi, their two sons, Travis and Preston Anesi; one brother, Jack Brodie and his wife Irene, 6 great-grand children plus many nieces and nephews.
