Anna Pearson Masson passed away peacefully at Westward Heights Care Center on March 16, 2018.
A Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16th in the Chapel of Mount Hope at Hudsons Funeral Home located at 680 Mount Hope Drive in Lander, Wyoming; with Pastor Scott Englehart officiating.
Anna Pearson Masson was born on October 29, 1927 in Rawlins, Wyoming to Carl Albert Pearson and Charlotte Louise Irving.
Anna was raised in McCammon, Idaho with her two siblings. In her junior year of High School, she moved back to Rawlins and graduated in 1945. She met and married Robert Masson September 1, 1947. They had four children. Anna worked in the court system for years. She was the Clerk of District Court for over 17 years. Following her retirement, they traveled South for the winter months and visiting their son Greg and his family in Georgia. In 2000, they moved to Lander to be closer to some of their children. She was a very proud member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, she was a member for 68 years. She was a very loving, caring and sensitive person.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert; her sister, Helen Shumway; daughter-in-law, W. Sandy Masson; her parents; and several other family members.
She is survived by her children Sandra (Gene) Ferry of Lander, Wyoming; Cheryl (Tom) Outland of Worland, Wyoming and their children Katrina and Kody Outland; Dr. Gregory Masson of Fayetteville, Georgia and his children James (Jennifer) Masson of Virginia; John (Nikki) Masson and their children Callie Ann, Connor, Cameron of Fayetteville, Georgia; brother, James Pearson of Lacey, Washington.
She was a grandmother to 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
