Funeral Services for Elizabeth Ann Haas, 73, of Lander will be Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at 11:00am in the Faith Lutheran Church of Lander, 1600 Sinks Canyon Road. With viewing and visitation to begin at 10:00am.

Tim Sersen will be officiating with interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Ann died Thursday, October 30, 2008 in the Lander Regional Hospital.

Elizabeth Ann Haas was born January 31, 1935, the daughter of John Monlish and Anna Valousky in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania.

She grew up in this area graduating from West Mahanoy Township High School in Pennsylvania. Later she attended the McCann School of Business in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania.

In 1964 she married John "Andy" Andrew Haas.

After 25 years of being employed for a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Architectural Firm she retired to the Lander Area in 1992.

Ann's husband John "Andy" Andrew Haas passed away July 13, 2002 in Lander.

Ann has been active in many organizations. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church as well as Treasurer and Officer of the Church Council, Bazaar Committee, and the Song Bird Supper Club. She was also a member of the Borner's Garden Club and the Wyoming Cattlewomen's Association.

Ann lived in a house on the Popo Agie Ranch, she loved to travel around Wyoming, taking visiting friends and family all over the state and studying Native American history. She also loved doing puzzles of all kinds.

Survivors include son, Barry (Marie) Haas of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; step sons, John (Barb) Haas of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and January (Ann) Haas of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania; brother, Dan (Diane) Monlish of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania; sisters, Jean Paskiewicz of Manville, New Jersey, and Dorothy (Bill) Goetz of Linden, New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by husband, John "Andy" Andrew Haas; and parents, John and Anna Monlish.

Memorial may be mailed directly to Faith Lutheran Church, 1600 Sinks Canyon Road, Lander, Wyoming 82520.
