Alexander Smith Jr.

Alexander (Alex) Smith, Jr. of Ethete died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at home. He was 69 years old.

An evening service will be held 7:00pm Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Blue Sky Hall with a wake following at the family residence, 50 Trosper Lane, in Ethete. Funeral services will be held 10am Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Blue Sky Hall with Bishop Kinner officiating. Interment will be at Chief Washakie Cemetery.

Alexander Smith, Jr. was born Oct. 7, 1945, in Fort Washakie, the son of Alexander Sr. and Ellen Julia (Aragon) Smith.

He was a lifelong resident of the Wind River Reservation and attended school in Mill Creek, Bar Gee, and Pavillion.

His family said he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, rodeos, being outdoors, bowling, and being with his grandchildren.
