Albert Roger Booky

Albert Roger Booky passed from this life Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the age of 91. He was born in Derry New Hampshire on July 11, 1925 to James T. and Alice Booky. He had two brothers, Joseph and Ernest. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy before proudly serving in the military. He married Jessa' Lee Hovey in Roswell, New Mexico on August 26, 1955 and they had been married over 61 years. They were blessed with 2 children, 2 grand-daughters, one great grand-daughter as well as a wonderful extended family. Albert was a long time educator and author who loved the American West. He lived in the Hondo Valley and Roswell, New Mexico for many years and had been a resident of Lander, Wyoming for 7 years. Albert is survived by his wife, Jessa' Lee; as well as many family, friends and former students. The family will gather for a private memorial service at a later date.
